Manchester United 4-2 Stoke City: Premier League Highlights

Wayne Rooney scored at either end as Manchester United romped home to a 4-2 victory coming off the back of the October international break against Stoke City. Welbeck would net only 52 seconds into the second half before Michael Kightly kept the game interesting for the travelling supporters shortly before the hour. Wayne Rooney would have the final say in the contest, netting United’s fourth goal on 65 minutes. Michael Owen played a cameo role for Stoke City despite being ineffective compared to Peter Crouch’s early exploits in the contest which had an already shaky United defence flimsier.
