Let's face it, Heidi Klum may be beautiful, but she's a bit loopy - and if there's one night that her madness really shows itself, it's Halloween…

Her previous intricate party costumes have included a cat, a crow, a robot and the goddess Kali… but this year she topped them all. And scared the bejeezus out of all of us.

Looking like she'd stripped off every last piece of her skin, Heidi was under a sheet on a gurney as she was wheeled onto the red carpet by two doctors. Then she proceeded to get up and show off her full scary costume for the photographers at her party in Vegas.

I don't know about you, but if I'd come face to face with THAT in the ladies' after a few cocktails… petrified wouldn't even cover it.

Heidi compared her skintight-costume to wandering around in the nude, saying:

"It’s kind of like a dead body with the first layer of skin ripped off.

Felipe Massa admits that he is concerned that Ferrari could struggle with the hard compound tyres being taken to India this weekend by Pirelli for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix.

Unconfirmed reports quote officials as saying Col Gaddafi was captured there.

I believe people didn't help because in a similar case of a man helping a woman who fell down, he was prosecuted for doing that. People must have had fear of helping the little child, but it's still no excuse of letting her bleed on the floor like that. Even animals shouldn't be treated like this. Who knew out of all the people, a trash collector came to the child's rescue; God bless her soul. I hope this opens people's eyes and shows them that we need reform.

More than a dozen passers-by ignored a two-year-old girl as she lay critically injured on a street in southern China after being run over twice, the official Xinhua news agency said Monday.
The incident has sparked outrage on China's hugely popular social media sites.
Surveillance cameras showed a series of people walk past the girl, named Yue Yue, after she was hit first by a van and then a truck outside her family's shop in the southern Chinese city of Foshan.
Xinhua said a rubbish collector who finally came to the girl's aid, moving her to the curb and shouting for help, was ignored by several shopkeepers before he finally tracked down her mother who took her to hospital.
In response, one netizen on Sina Weibo, a Chinese micro-blog similar to Twitter, wrote: "This society is seriously ill. Even cats and dogs shouldn't be treated so heartlessly."

But others linked the incident to an earlier case in which a man who tried to help an elderly woman after she fell over was prosecuted, apparently because his intervention broke government rules on dealing with accident victims.
Doctors said Yue Yue was in a coma and unlikely to survive the ordeal.
"She would not be able to survive any operations. She's very close to brain death," a spokesman for the hospital treating her told AFP.

The update gives us a ton of new features including built in Twitter Support for people who love to share. THEY became a YouTube sensation after their adorable performance of Nicki Minaj's Super Bass went viral earlier this month.

And yesterday little Sophia Grace Brownlee, 8, and her cousin Rosie Grace McClelland, 5, from Essex, England, got the surprise of their lives during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The talk show host introduced the pair, who were both dressed in their now famous pink ballerina outfits and tiaras, to their idol after they performed a lively rendition of her hit song.

Sophia Grace, who wowed the crowd with her impressive vocals, squealed with delight as the pop star emerged from backstage.

She immediately jumped into the singer's arms and threw her arms around her.

Rosie, who dances and offers support while her old cousin sings, also gave her a hug.

DeGeneres then gave them Nicki inspired wigs, microphones and necklaces to complete their look.

The star then joined her little fans for another rendition of the song.

Mass Shooting Seal beach California 9 Victims

Seal Beach police said the death toll from the salon shooting has risen to eight people. A ninth victim is in critical condition at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.

"This could be one of our greatest tragedies," Police Sgt. Steve Bowles said.

The gunman opened fire inside the crowded salon Wednesday, littering the shop with bodies. Police said he acted alone, althoaaaaugh investigators said they were still scrambling to piece together what triggered such violence.

Eyewitnesses said that he was targeting his ex-wife and that the two were involved in a custody dispute.

The alleged shooter was apprehended only a few blocks from the Salon Meritage, the Pacific Coast Highway shop that was bustling with customers and stylists when the shooting erupted.

One of the victims was apparently the owner of the salon, Randy Fannin, a relative said.

“Randy is dead,” said the owner’s niece, Tami Scarcella. “Randy is dead for sure.”

A middle-aged Anaheim woman who identified herself as Cindy said she was sitting in the chair getting her hair done by Fannin when a man walked in and started shooting.

“We thought it was maybe firecrackers,” she said. “But he just didn’t stop. Anybody he saw he was shooting.”

“It went boom, boom, boom,” she said, speaking outside the taped-off crime scene. “I was afraid he was going to shoot everybody.”

The afternoon shooting left the normally placid beach town struggling to make sense of the carnage. A policeman spokesman said the shooting had put the city and its small police force on unfamiliar ground.

Bowles said the crime scene was horrific. “There are victims throughout the entire salon," he said.

Witnesses and survivors alike were taken to a nearby apartment complex to settle their nerves. Others milled outside the police lines at the neighborhood shopping center, recounting what had happened.

Marissa Pei said she had been at the gym earlier in the day with a friend before bumping into her again outside the shopping center. She was sobbing.

" ''My friend is dead. My friend is dead,’ ” Pei said the woman told her. “I held her.”

Pei said she also spoke to a man married to someone who was at the salon.

“’My baby. She’s half of me,’ ” Pei recalled him saying. “ 'Please, God, don’t let her be dead.’ ”

Dion Martini, a manicurist at a nearby salon, said: "This is a shock to the whole community. All of us around here have worked together at one time or another."

Martini was busy with a client herself when she heard sirens and helicopters and knew something was wrong. When she learned a shooting had unfolded in a salon much like hers, she struggled to contain her emotions.

"I've been having chills and had to hold back tears," she said. "I just can't imagine anybody being that sick to go in and do that to anybody."

Dr. James Blake, a dentist, was in his 5th street office doing bridge work on a patient, as his hygienists cleaned other patients’ teeth, when he heard what he later learned were gunshots coming from the parking lot outside.

“Then there was a pause and a few more gunshots,” said Blake in an interview with The Times. “I didn’t see the shooter.”

Alarmed, Blake said his staff immediately locked the door to the office until police arrived.

The shooting “definitely was very unexpected” for Seal Beach, said Blake, who’s had his office in the shopping center since 1992।

Scores arrested at Occupy Boston protest site

Protesters said late on Monday that police had given participants an ultimatum to return to their small original encampment by nightfall or be moved along.

But it was not until after 1 a.m. ET Tuesday when hundreds of Boston and Transit police officers, some in riot gear, moved in on the group, handcuffing protesters and tearing down tents.

"At 1:30 this morning hundreds of police in full riot gear brutally attacked Occupy Boston," the group said in a news release, adding that authorities "made no distinction between protesters, medics, or legal observers."

Police said no protesters or police were injured in the maneuver.About 100 people were arrested early Tuesday after Occupy Boston protesters refused to leave a park in the city, police reportedly said.

The Boston Globe reported that riot police officers arrived near the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway park at about 1:20 a.m. ET with dozens of sheriff vans and police wagons arriving minutes later.

UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III - Main Event Dissection

It's arrived. The trilogy will conclude in the headliner of tonight's UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III event, a blockbuster pitting the two best lightweights in the world in a sure-fire dogfight.

For all the hoopla surrounding this match up, anyone who's watched their previous collisions should know what variables are at play here. Frankie Edgar will wield his hyperspace agility and abstract cage flux to combat the sheer power Gray Maynard packs in his monster punches and enveloping takedowns.

First and foremost, make sure you peruse Fraser Coffeen's Judo Chop that analyzes the striking exchanges in their last fight, as well as K.J. Gould's Judo Chop on the grappling.

What makes this a great match up is that even though Edgar's edge is his speed and Maynard's is power, neither are weak by any means where their opponent excels.

Maynard has good hand speed and agility for such a strong lightweight; Edgar has powerful takedowns and saying he has "pillow hands" is a bit of an exaggeration.

Maynard uses nothing but basic boxing backed with skull-splitting heft to rock Frankie.

In both fights, Maynard connected with his biggest blows while lunging forward and leading rather than waiting to counter Edgar's incoming combinations.

Therefore, "getting off first" becomes a priority for Maynard. Edgar's poetic explosion of crisp combinations from unexpected angles is better left defended than attempted to pick apart.

Maynard's bread and butter punches are his lunging left hook and uppercut, both of which are anchored by his absolutely devastating short right hand.

The flip side is that Edgar excels in counter punching, especially against the more basic combinations that Maynard throws.

The fuse that sparks his comeback is the laser-straight one-two he responds with to the right. You can see that Maynard is much more of a stationary target with his hands low, playing right into Edgar's warp-speed "in and out" strategy.

Like Maynard, Edgar is successful when he's leading the exchanges.

Notice how Maynard is now on his heels and forced to react, both defensively (dodging the strikes with footwork and head movement) and offensively (trying to get a bead on some of the fastest hands and best head-work in the division).

It's also worth mentioning that Edgar tones down the volume and breadth of his strikes, relying on just one- and two-punch combinations thrown straight and long.

Abstaining from hooks, uppercuts and kicks keeps his chin vigorously protected and his strikes highly accurate with his feet underneath him to skate away from danger.

Edgar secures his takedowns one of two ways.

His absence of significant striking power gives his adversaries the confidence that they can absorb the blows. They relent on reacting with urgent motion, enabling the surprise double leg (like vs. Penn).

Or, his endlessly elusive tendencies are so unbearably annoying that his opponents barrel forward. This allows him to rapid-shift from reverse to high gear and use their own momentum to get ultra-deep with a simple and precise level drop, as we see to the right.

Between two high level and prestigious wrestlers like this, I can't hammer on the importance of penetration enough for the takedown battles.

Re-examine the gif above with this in mind. Facilitated by timing, Edgar gets so deep on the double leg that Gray's entire waist and torso are draped perfectly across Edgar's lowered shoulders. It's the perfect fulcrum to topple someone over.

It's also the exact reason why Gray doesn't succeed on this attempt above.

The ideal ploy for Gray is something I was surprised he didn't do more.

Since Frankie doesn't elude the attempt entirely, makes contact and uses a little muscle to shuck him off, Maynard should play the game of dropping levels and then bashing hooks when Edgar lowers his hands to sprawl.

Kevin Randleman executed the technique flawlessly in his knockout upset of Mirko Filipovic. While Edgar's motion alternates between in and out, Maynard's should be up and down from striking to takedowns.

All in all, these two are incredibly even-matched and I expect another razor-thin decision.

The overwhelming consensus seems to be that Edgar will prevail. I agree.

Please insert all the recycled but truthful disclaimers about this statement, but a broad brush stroke on the last fight might be that Edgar "got caught" and was merely delayed on implementing his bulletproof gameplan.

My feeling is just that it will be easier for Edgar to fine-tune and replicate his performance than it will be for Maynard. Frankie's chin has been phenomenal and, although Gray obviously broke it down, the big first round scare last time will probably give Frankie the right amount of confidence that he can trudge through Maynard's best punches and a spike in caution to avoid it, knowing that eating one punch can end his night and his title run.

I expect Edgar to start out overly hesitant -- much to the chagrin of the bloodthirsty audience -- and methodically needle straight punches for the first few rounds.
