Jimmy Fallon brings David Bowie and Tim Tebow together (VIdeo)

In the spirit of Ziggy Stardust himself, late night host Jimmy Fallon — dubbed for this episode, “Tim Tebowie” — delivered his rendition of “Space Oddity.”

Altering the lyrics to the famed David Bowie song, Fallon sings, “Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ.”

“This is Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow, please leave me alone. Don‘t you know my day of rest is Sunday and I’m sick of watching all these Bronco’s games!”

While many entertainers and pundits have delivered a barrage of low-blows to Tebow over his devout Christian faith, Fallon’s musical interlude seems to be keeping it all in good humor. Watch the clip below, courtesy of Late Night:Last night, Daniel Radcliffe stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and took quite a beating: he is made fun of by Jimmy and the audience for his Britishisms and for being a nerd who plays cricket video games. He also talked a bit about his new movie The Woman in Black, but let's focus on the bullying here.During his time on Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Fallon was the master of celebrity impressions and performed more song parodies for unnecessary occasions (Bastille Day, anyone?) than any other cast member, ever. So it's only fitting that Fallon take on the man of the moment, a man who has already inspired so many parodies,Tim Tebow himself.

Fallon has already given us hilariously unexpected musical performances from odd couple pairings like Neil Young's cover of "Party in the USA" and "Whip My Hair," performed by, who else, Bruce Springsteen, reports Entertainment Weekly. In Thursday night's episode of Late Night, Fallon added another hilarious number to his repertoire as he took the stage in silver makeup, silver platform shoes and a Broncos jersey as "Tebowie," (a cross between Tim Tebow and David Bowie, obviously).
